The Challenge
Next Move Healthcare is a growing travel nurse staffing agency with opportunities in more than a dozen states. In order to remain on top they faced two clear challenges: Their visibility and volume could be higher.
They missed out on search traffic from geographic areas in which they offered a high volume of travel nursing contracts at extremely competitive rates. In addition, they had a low time on page, unclear calls to action (CTAs), and a poor user experience (UX) due to targeting high volume but not necessarily convertible or relevant keywords.
The Solution
Instead of just chasing generic keywords, we dove into the competitive landscape to uncover hidden gems. We wanted to know what our target market was actually searching for. By analyzing competitors and conducting in-depth client research, we discovered a goldmine of long-tail keywords and informational queries that earned us the coveted “featured snippet” spot within 4 months. These included: what is block scheduling, how to get a compact license, what nurse recruiters look for.

But we didn't stop there. To ensure full-blown SEO success, we conducted a UX/UI audit, developed a SEO blog template (for future writers) and leveraged Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Semrush to continuously identify new trends and opportunities that could generate more SEO traffic for our site.
